Unable to access complete list of songs

I have just connected my new Rock Band2 Wii system and only see a limited song list, where as the box lists many additional titles which are not included on my Rock Band song list. What do I do to access the complete list of songs?

Go into the World Tour and play through some of the Tour Challenges. Just like with most other video games, you need to play through the beginning stages to unlock further content. The decade challenges ("80's Challenge", "70's Challenge", etc) are the easiest and quickest way to unlock all of the songs.
