I got an empty box from EA. From what the instructions say, there should be a "bubble-wrapped" guitar inside and I was supposed to remove that and put the wrap on the old guitar and send it in.
Has anyone else seen this? Is this normal?

I had the exact same issue for PS3. They sent me an empty Xbox 360 box... and yes, I also paid for express shipping. I suspect that they're being overloaded with so many replacement requests that they're buying time by shipping out empty boxes. Pretty ****ing low. I'd rather them tell me it will take an additional 2-3 weeks.

I just recieved my box this morning also for the PS3 and low and behold inside is an empty X360 wired guitar box with the pink paper saying here is your new guitar and how to send back the old one. I submitted the question to support.ea and hopefully I will hear back something soon.
I understand being backed up but if I give out my credit card... dont ship me an empty box.

Did they charge your credit card for an express replacement? Can you please PM me the answer or respond to this thread.

This was an issue in our system with some of the replacement requests and should be resolved as of last week (however some replacements still went out inappropriately since they were already processed). Please contact support and let them know what happened so they can make sure a proper replacement goes out for you.
Also, to help us ensure that this is completely resolved, can you PM me with the type of credit card you used for the express shipment (not the number just the card type i.e. Visa, Discover, Amex, etc).
Thank you and my apologies for the error.

I chose the empty box option but it's still saying use the provided bubble wrap. Since I did not choose the credit card option...do I have to go buy bubble wrap?
