I've only been playing BWT for one night, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Any time we play a "mystery setlist" it seems that Say it Ain't So and I Think I'm Paranoid are in the list. I'm not exxaggerating either, its literally everytime. And its not like we haven't unlocked any songs, we just won our jet.

Does this happen to anyone else?

If the only way you have unlocked the songs is through BWT, the game won't have much to choose from where the mystery setlists are concerned, so you will see the same songs over and over until you get more of them unlocked.

This problem takes care of itself if you don't select any mystery setlists until you have opened every individual song available to you (and more may become available as you play the ones already opened).

Play through a solo tour on medium or above to unlock all songs for BWT. It's faster then unlocking them all in BWT.

We had the same problem our first time through BWT. I have no idea why, because I'd done a solo tour and unlocked like 30 songs. But still, every time we did mystery, it was Garbage and Weezer, every single time. Just to be clear to everyone else, it is not an issue of number of songs unlocked. You can unlock every song in the game, and it still keeps happening. Garbage and Weezer, over and over.

However, at some point it just sort of stopped. Plus, we've started a second band, and from the beginning we never have this problem anymore. One theory I had was that they may have patched this problem. Have you connected your xbox to Live and updated the game? I'd suggest it.

Other then that, as you unlock more songs, the problem should just sort of go away eventually.

If you're on a PS3, I think downloading the update will solve the problem. IF that fails, try the make a new band thing, or just restart the console.
