Tool on Rock Band or Guitar Hero and im kind of sad with the song that was picked to represent NIN i like the hand that feeds but i still feel there are many better songs to better represent NIN as a band i hope im not the only one that feels there should be more NIN and any Tool added to the Download content hopefully soon

I'm sure many songs that you really like will become available for download in the next coming months.

Sometimes companies like HMX and Activision can't get the songs for use as the artists or record companies won't allow them for release. We're kind of at their mercy.

Personally, I'd do cartwheels if they could add anything from System of a Down - but, I won't hold my breath.

believe me, you're not the only one who wants some tool and NIN. and SOAD. hopefully, tool will come, and there will be much rejoicing.

You can use the request song selection from the main page of the Rock Band web site, or post in the Ultimate Setlist forum to make band or song requests. That is the best location for this type of thread.

Tool is what you call a tool. They don't want their songs on the internet or video games. They hate these ideas and isn't likely they will be here. They don't want there songs on iTunes even. That why I was suprised they even got Radiohead. But, Radiohead was trying to sign a lable, and pissing off MTV isn't the way to do that.

Personally I think you will find A Perfect Circle on there before you find Tool. It's much more mainstream and would likely please more people. I love both of the bands(because they are pretty much the same band, lol) and really hope that they get a song or two in there. I would love to see "The Pot" or "vicarious" from Tool's new cd. "Passive," "Judith," or "The Outsider" from A Perfect Circle would make me incredibly happy.

Don't hold your breath for Tool being on Rockband. Tool is notorious for not licensing their music (Right up there with AC/DC if not worse). It may be possible for a cover of one of their songs to come out, but who would really want that.

Go away noob!

We don't tolerate that manner of thinking very well. You only have 120+ posts, compared to me you are a noob. Don't insult people in that manner unless you are ready to deal with the consequences.

Post count generally has little to do with how noobish a poster is.

1. The thread title is uninformative (pet peeve).
2. The thread is in the wrong forum.
3. The man capitalizes the T in tool but not "I" in his pronouns.

Tool was on the freaking Escape from L.A. soundtrack. NIN is seemingly in any video game that wants them. While I'm sure it wouldn't be easy, I think they could have tried harder.

Agreed that RB needs a few good Tool songs in it. As for NIN I have a feeling we will definitely be seeing a few of their song available for DLC in the coming months.

Trent approached HMX and asked to be in the game, I don't see why they wouldnt chuck us some DLC if Trent's that keen. I wonder if he was pissed that hand that feeds got in, maybe he allowed it as long as more kickass songs would be released later :D

While I too love both bands, I think its an insult to both bands to say "they are pretty much the same.." only one person is in both bands.. while that person is the singer, the rest of the members of each band do very different things.. you can even distinguish the difference in the singer too in my opinion.

But I do agree, seeing anything from either, would make me incredibly happy as well.
