The problem is that when we are singing, the PS3 controller from our "singer" will turn off because its not being used. This results on a menu displaying on the screen entitled "Turn on your controller" with 2 options:
- Continue
- Return to main menu
as we are all playing clicking down on the strum bar and several green buttons(:P) this results into a instant return to main menu, losing all progress on the song/setlist. we even had this in the middle of the endless setlist 2 :(
My System: PS3
Microphone Brand: Rock Band
PS3 Controller Brand: Sony
I have tried with another microphone, i tried pluging the controller into the USB port from the PS3 to see if it didn't turn off, no luck so far.
For the ones who are gonna say its just a matter of hitting the buttons every once in a while, thank you, but that's not the point. The game doesn't stop when the guitars/drums are disconnected after a long pause, why does it stop for the "singer" controller, its the only one that u don't have to have on in order to play. Consider also that when u get the circles to pop on the voice, i know you can press X on the controller to "pop" them, but we are used to "slapping" the microphone, which does the same thing.
Me and some friends always play the game together, and sometimes we do some long pauses to talk, have a beer, whatever, and this is the most annoying issue we have :( Considering the menu that pops up can be controlled by everyone, it should at least be locked into the controller number so no one can quit the game :(
so i think thats all, i would like to know if there is any solution to this problem.
thanks :)
