Does anyone else remember when we had images?

I remember when I joined there was images for some time. It was pretty cool seeing everyones characters and custom art without leaving the site. Then some spammers ruined it. :mad:

Would be cool to see that feature brought back somehow. Most game forums seem to utilize that ability quite nicely.

No, not really. I was probably inactive at the time or people didn't actually use them too much.

It was not just "some spammers" that ruined it. Overuse and abuse by a number of groups were pushing the limit for some time. It just happened to be a few choice incidents were the breaking point.

I really miss the Youtube embedding. This made communication or agreement in the ultimate setlist much easier. Not that it's become a huge struggle now, but the convenience was nice.

i like avatars a little more than pictures in a sig but obviously it meant a lot to people.

i liked images, i am glad we got avis back though, sucked when those were gone, what i miss was embedding videos, instead of links, but oh well, those times are gone, i understand the reasoning behind them being gone

I think the lack of pictures in sigs makes the forum look better. Other sites that allow massive sigs with pictures and whatnot are a pain to read. I wouldn't mind links in sigs though.
