i'm getting sick of it!!!!!! every single time I do a score duel unranked online, the other players are ALWAYS quitting midsong!!! nobody is ever on ranked expert, and the only time they don't quit is when they pick the song on medium. i just want ONE match, expert, against somebody else!!! you know, harmonix's next patch should include a "no-quitting" option.

Umm I won't of course depends on the song that is picked I can only do abotu 7-10 songs on expert. But I'm on PS3 so rarely find anyone to drum duel against.

That just means they probably are losing bad and have no chance so they give up.

Oh good idea for no quitting. They should make it where people also can't turn their 360's off, unplug the power, or anything.

they could make some kind of 'honor' system, where you lose points if you quit early, (kinda like rank points in halo3), and then matchmaking would incorporate the honor points so that those with the lowest honor would get lowest priority for getting paired-up

I like the honor system (ala Halo3) idea. The very few times I've found someone on expert drums (ranked) they quit every time I start winning. Annoying as hell. The times I find someone who won't quit, it's because they're trouncing my ass hehehehe

Wow, a patch that gives HMX the ability to stop me from unplugging my 360 from my wall.... *shakes head*

This is a rampant problem on ps3. If you don't finish, there should be a DNF% or something like it, that can give quitters away before the match even starts.
On a side note, I too am looking for some expert, non-quitting action.

I don;t know if theres a way to do this on PSN, but on live when people quit mid song i give them negative feedback, and then i dont really worry about it because HMX said that when they quit it still gives you the win. Not really a big help when you're playing unranked though, since getting a win unranked means nothing. I think quitting during the middle of a song should give the player aids

Why are people even bothering to play ranked games when the best they can do is medium anyway?

I'm halfway through the hard solo tour, and I wouldn't even think of trying to play ranked online.

I can not even FIND anyone to play against on the ps3 with drums....

I will take a beating no problem, meaning I will finish a game.

I play on ranked medium because I'm not good enough to play a random hard song. While I can get by on some hard songs, others I can't even comprehend. I can do any song on medium fairly well.

The quitting thing doesn't only apply to hard or expert. PLENTY of people have quit on me while playing medium on Ranked matches. I was seeing how far I could get up the ladder and I got to 8th place. Now I'm probably sitting way lower because of Christmas.

It's not my fault that there is one list for all difficulties. I am not good enough to play ranked on hard (because it's random) but I'm excellent at medium.

Never read that anywhere myself... and it doesn't ;)

Couldn't get my 5 win streak because everybody kept quitting... (expert drums :() And I've had the same issues... everybody quits out when they start to lose... if they can't play expert then why did they select it?

Just because you didn't read it anywhere doesn't mean it wasn't on here, I deffinately read it on these forums somewhere.

So, after posting today, I actually found someone on the ranked expert drum list. We got a crap choice (Run To The Hills) but I was lucky enough not to have them quit when I beat them.

Still, it'd have been nice if I didn't get a message right thereafter calling me a "F*g and telling me to get a life".

And to think, I actually thanked the person for the game and apologized that we didn't get a nice song to duel with. Good sportsmanship is apparently dead.

*sigh*
