I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I was unable to find anything on the forums about this.
Last week, some friends and I hooked up on Xbox Live and put together a three-piece band consisting of a guitarist, a vocalist and a drummer.
We started playing the first song and the guitarist quickly realized that the notes on the screen were being played for him and that they were being played perfectly. He wasn't allowed to interact with the song at all, so he wasn't able to activate Overdrive or do anything else.
When the song ended, we decided to play "Run to the Hills" to see if it would continue to autoplay the guitar and sure enough, the guitar finished at 100% and I believe it indicated that he was a Solo Legend. Again, no Overdrive could be activated.
I had the idea of trying to form a new band by moving my friend over to another profile to play bass while the phantom guitarist rocked out with perfection. Unfortunately, the autoplay function did not carry over to the new band.
Is this some sort of cheat code that we accidentally entered or just a glitch? We don't remember doing anything differently.
