2 weeks!
I waited two !@$@#!$ weeks for my drums, and they came today. GREAT! I'm so happy, opening the box finally able to play with the nearly TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR video game I bought.

Wait...what's this?! WHERE'S THE @#@%~! BASS PEDAL AT?!

Now I'm sitting here, on the phone listening to crappy muzak waiting for whatever MORE hoops I'm going to have to go through just to get a bass pedal. OH JOY!! ANOTHER 2 WEEKS OF WAITING!!! WHOOOOOOPIE!!!

This is bull. Complete and utter bull.

I hate you EA.

Drum kits and drum pedals are replaced separately (since one can be faulty without affecting the other). The directions for sending your drum kit back specifically show which pieces to send, however if you accidentally send the pedal you can contact Support to see if they can't resolve that for you.

I apologize for the confusion and the wait.

I got a big box, no directions, and a couple of pieces of cardboard with slots for ALL pieces from my drum kit. I looked around and people were saying they sent in their entire set, so I did the same. So no, I didn't ACCIDENTALLY disassemble my drum kit, fit each piece into the designated slot, tape up the box, drive to a UPS store, hand the clerk my box, and wait for 2 weeks. No, none of that was on accident.

But thank you very much for the condescending reply, Violet. I'm sure that had I gotten directions, they would have specifically told me which parts to send.

OH, but here's some great news! The box that I got back today DID have directions in it! Oh goody! Even better still, the guy who took my phone call today gave the same cookie cutter response that I got here.

It'll take another week just to get a bass pedal. But the BEST part was his oh-so-forced ending line:

"Thanks for choosing Rock Band and have fun with the game."

Yes, I sure will have fun...failing every song because I DON'T HAVE MY BASS PEDAL.

Oh yeah, and there's even more! After entering practice mode just to see how the new kit works, I discover that not only does the red pad still not reply 80% of the time, now the YELLOW one is almost as bad!

I'M SO GLAD THAT I PAID NEARLY 200 DOLLARS FOR A GIANT !@#$%^* PAPERWEIGHT.

Am I a bit perturbed? Yeah, just a tiny bit...
