RB2 strat won't auto-calibrate

The audio calibration went fairly well, but not the video. i tried to do it in the pitch darkness of the night with curtains on, yet it won't get a reading. Any suggestions?

BTW i play on Wii.

There is the possibility that the light sensor on your Strat is kaput...

There is the possibility that the light sensor on your Strat is kaput...

And I ordered it new, from amazon :(
