Okay, so first I will truly apologize because I'm sure this question has been asked before, but am I correct in saying that if Lego Rock Band is the only RB game you own, and it is for the Wii, that there is no way to purchase/download/get more songs than what came with it?
Thanks.
Mom whose son got LRB for Christmas and wants to know, "Can I get more songs?????"

You are correct in saying that. Even if you owned other RB games and were able to download RB DLC songs using RB2, you still wouldn't be able to play those songs in Lego: Rock Band on the Wii.

nothing i wholeheartly agree we should of been able to get more songs but harmonix didn't make this rockband game all they did was chart the notes for the songs im sure if HMX had its way the wii would have all of the extra features the 360 gets but alas, we don't :(

This game was made by Travellers Tales, while the much better ports of Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band were done by Pi Studios, so that might have something to do with it.

Yeah, this one falls on Traveler's Tales. Harmonix would have made it feature-identical with the 360 and PS3 versions. Traveler's Tales have notoriously gimped the Wii versions of other LEGO games (aka: no online co-op), but never to the degree that they did with LEGO Rock Band.
Still, a very fun game. But bummer about the extra tracks.

Just so you know, even on the X360 and PS3 versions, there has only been 1 Lego game ever that had online co-op (one of the Star Wars ones, "The Complete Saga", I believe). None of the others ever did; Batman, Indian Jones, etc.

Not out of the box, but LucasArts announced a few months ago (http://kotaku.com/5411348/lego-indiana-jones-2-will-continue-adventure-with-online-coop) that they're working on a patch that will enable it in Indy 2 (for X360 and PS3).
