Rockband Ps2 in Quebec, hmmm.. wtf

Ok, the game has been out for 9 days and nothing in the whole Quebec about the ps2 version of RockBand?? What the hell?

We had to buy the PS3 version, take the game disk back to WM without receipt and get store credit. Buy the PS2 disk with that store credit and go play. You will need a USB hub to have the mic working too.

That's where I found my PS3 bundle last Friday :) You have better chances there, since it's a small store, and not a lot of people think of looking there. :)

ive got mine in the EB games right next to the walmart on decarie boulevard in montreal i got it yesterday tha guys says to mee that the problem is because of the office de la langue francaise whos blocking the sale of english packaging ....

The Manufacturers (that would be EA) Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is 169.99 for US and Canada. It is the stores that are raising the price. I got mine in Montreal for 169.99!

It's only $199 if you buy from Future Shop or Best Buy. Everywhere else is $169.

The PS2 bundle wasn't released till months later here in the US too. I couldn't find a bundle till 12/21 and even then was lucky to get one. Even now you can't find the PS2 bundles anywhere. I was at GameStop two days ago and they said they got 5 in the day before but were already gone.

Ottawa has lots of PS2 / PS3 / XBOX bundles.. for those in montreal, it's only a 2 hours drive to go buy one there! (then you gotta come back though..)

I saw a skid of PS2 bundles at the kanata walmart, 160$.

I need some explanation. I'm a little bit frustrated by the situation.

I've preordered my RB bundle in the first week of November at EbGames here in my town (I live between Sherbrooke and Montreal).

I've been told that I will have it by December 20th.

Nothing yet.

Several people have reported that they have purchased their without any pre-order, at Walmart, Future Shop and some at Ebgames. WTF.

Here in my town, only 2 bundles have reached all the major place. Walmart, Ebgames, and Future Shop.

Whats the deal. Come on, why big city have them by numbers and some big city store have them on the shelve taking dust and here nothing and still nothing (they all told me that they absolutely dont know when we will be able to have our bundle).

Why pre-order in stores cannot be fullfilled before putting game on shelves?

Yes I'm a little bit upset by the situation...and what dont help is its the same situation here for GH III...Only the PC version are in abundance here and the only console version are at the local Walmart...for X360 but only 4 bundle with the wired guitar.
