XBOX360 RB1 Drums blinking not connecting

I have a Rock Band 1 drums for almost a year and a half and everything was working perfect until today. when i connected drums to xbox via usb and turn on the console, the xbox button on drums just keeps blinking and xbox doesnt recognize drums. anyone know what happen to be the problem???

i just found out that when the console is turned off, if i press the xbox button on drums, the xbox will turn on, but still cant recognize drums.

i think its the drums, cause i plugged USB stick and its working, plugged digital camera, works also, hell even iphone is charging thru USB, but drums dont work....

It's most likely that your drums are just dead. That happens to electronics after a while. Luckily, you can pick up a new RB1 drum set for around 10 bucks nowadays.

well maybe they are dead, but i am still hoping that someone who had same problem and fixed it will answer here :(

I have RB2 and the console button on the drums just kept blinking, even with the console turned off...I just replaced the batteries in the drum set and all is fine now.

thats ok for rb 2 drums cause they are wireless, but these are wired via usb, they dont have battery and they dont have sync button. when u plug them they work when u unplug they dont,. But now when i plug them they dont work anymore
