Christmas DLC, Got it?

So who here actually liked the Christmas DLC to get it? I got 4 of the songs (may get the last one later)

I didn't like any of the songs really, yes after listening. I do like 30 seconds to mars a little bit, but not those songs, i liked the first album much better. But I still got them all since they were 1 dollar, if i don't like it then oh well its only one dollar

The Sounds definitely have the most "cred", and it's a fun song, but the Move Along song is surprisingly a blast on the drums... for those into drums.

i'm unfamiliar with that song, but i'm probably gonna buy it, because when i finally get on XBL, i'm gonna buy those 4 the sabbath pack the QOTSA pack, jukebox hero, and fortunate son, so i'll have 80p left over. i might as well buy it.

You should have added another option have a PS3 and it is not out yet. But when it comes out next week, I might get the The All-American Rejects songs, and maybe The Sounds song.

This might be my favorite week of DLC and I don't listen to any of those bands! Move a Long is my favorite song by far...I love playing it on the drums. All the songs are atleast decent. Good job Harmonix!

I got The Kill because it was the only song I knew, and I knew I liked it. I'll look up the others on Youtube and maybe download the rest once I'm back home and have an Internet connection that'll actually work with my Xbox.

Downloaded none because I'm in Ohio visiting my family for the holidays (my rock band is in California). Won't be back until Tuesday, so I'll choose according to what next week's release is when I get home.

I assume I'll get the Sounds for myself and AAR for my girlfriend at some point when we're drunk. Alas, the things we do to please our ladies (even if it means AAR now coming up on BWT when I'm with my boys).

While on the other hand first time on "The Kill" and "Move Along" i failed :| irony, i passed em both, later, but still..you shouldnt be able to 100% a song on expert on the first try, thats crap..

While it's "nice" that the 80 credit DLC is 80 credits, HMX clearly only gave discount on the crap/obscure DLC that I've never heard of so while it seems charitable it's not.

I've heard of about 80% of the full-price DLC so far and really like about 50% of it. The half-price DLC and the songs I even know (let alone the ones I like) do not overlap. :mad:

I am pretty easy to please. If you put it out there, more than likely I will buy it. So far I have bought all of the songs available for DLC except for the David Bowie pack. With David Bowie, I just had to draw the line somewhere and say no. I still wonder why I got the queens of the stone age pack, probably for the variety. But 30 seconds to Mars is a big plus, although I wish one of the songs would have been From Yesterday instead of attack. The Kill is cool though. The All American Rejects isn't bad, its fun and it seems everyone knows the lyrics. Lately people have been *****ing about the songs from the karaoke standpoint. No whining came from the last round.

It is time though to throw out some rock songs from the Karaoke side of things, wheres the ballads? Or all around fun songs like November Rain, Knocking On Heavens Door, etc. I am not one to *****, you guys are doing great AND giving us constant downloads, which I greatly appreciate. Just would be nice to get some of the bubble gum stuff for the ladies :D

I'm a huge 30 Seconds to Mars fan, so I about lost it when I found those had become available when I was at work yesterday. Needless to say, I was late to work today because I needed to play them again. 30 Seconds was one of my three requests when it asked back in the day what you'd like to see in the game. I also asked for Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace. ::crosses fingers::

Damn, Jared Leto, I can hit all those notes when I sing in the car with you, but when you're gone I find I struggle.

And playing the guitar and singing is really effing tough for me on those two, but I still like it. I'd love "From Yesterday" but I'd really like "A Beautiful Lie" on there too... and "Savior" and "The Fantasy"... hell, just give me the whole album.

Also, AAR was fun.

My wife got the Weezer and the two songs by.. i dunno. Move along and whatever else.

after listening to each song we passed on the others. also passed on QOTSA, David Bowie, the punk pack and all of the singles except Juke Box Hero. At least we listen to each one before deciding, if it's something we wouldn't listen to outside the game we won't by it for the game.

I hadn't heard any of those songs before so I checked 'em out on YouTube. The Sounds are awesome, so I got that one. Didn't so much like the other four. I really like the ala carte downloads. Nice to be able to skip the songs you don't like...

i'll be getting the AAR songs (along w/ weezer and radiohead from previous week) once i get my 360 back from repairs. Cant wait to get back to this game!
