Need help creating bass player - stumped

I have created a guitarist, drummer and singer. I can't figure out for the life of me how to make a bass player. When I try to make a bass player he always plays the guitar. Im sure I'm missing something easy but cant figure out how. Is there a switch or an option to have him play bass for the solo mode stuff instead of guitar?

Not that I'm aware. There's no solo bass tour. Your guitarist can play bass in band world tour, and you can quick-play bass (I think.) But that's it. Sucks. :(

there is no solo tour for bass, and anyone playing a guitar can also play bass. when you go into the song just click the option bass or guitar.

you can quickplay bass, and i think that there is even a solo bass leaderboard if you go online.
