Based on this I would say there is a good chance we could see more Hendrix this year. Looks like they are really opening up the catalog now that the deal is done with Sony..

There is nothing on this album that hasn't been available for years. Collectors know that there is no finished version of "Valleys" - there are dozens of different performances/arrangements/jam sessions but Hendrix never put down a finished version (I have over two hours of tape of this song, trust me - and it is one of his best). Every other recording is old news and probably edited/spliced together to make Janie a few bucks. I'm actually thrilled to see people excited about this stuff, though. Alot of this is essential listening - I'm just tired of seeing this godawful woman (along with Kramer) take advantage of Jimi's music in the same way they complained about Alan Douglas doing years ago (before they had the publishing). This, like every album since Hendrix's death, is a hypocritical cash grab. If EH really cared about Jimi's legacy, they'd release the Black Gold tapes.
