This time they're trying to take down Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
And sadly this is not a fake read. (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3177457)
Why does everybody automatically blame videogames for everything that happens in life. These things happened even before video games existed!!!

Wow, they always blame the video games. Heres a little fun fact, Christians have started more wars than any other group in the history of humanity, ever hear of the crusades?! This is why I hate Christians (I don't have anything against you if your Christian, I just hate the group as a whole) they expect us to all blindly follow their ideals while they are to stubborn to give anyone else's a chance. Well, that's all I'm gonna say on this or else I'm probably gonna get banned again lol.

When claiming something is witchery, you aren't exactly associating yourself with the sane and reasonable parts of history.

Meh, not surprising. It's time to stop hoping this kind of ignorance will go away, and instead start hoping for some new form of media to come out and attract the ire of the "morality" brigade.

I think when groups like this see video games, they see something like the movie Gamer.

I like to consider myself a very good Christian teenager, but I see no connection between Modern Warfare 2 and school shootings..........

There is a well-established cause and effect relationship between video games and school shootings
Well the very first sentence from their statement consists of them making things up and talking out their ass so we shouldn't be surprised when the rest of it is so unintentionally hilarious.
The ready availability of drugs, violent video games, and outrageous rock music is a witch's brew which will eventually lead to tragedy here in Maine.
LOL maybe they'd like to throw in an additional statement about the "harlot's clothing and makeup" that young girls wear these days? You know, just to complete their set of horribly outdated cliches? Next they will be complaining about the "devil inspired dancing" that young people do these days.
This thread is gonna be locked though because you are trying to turn it into an attack against Christians, really should have left the religious stuff out of it.

Drugs aren't readily available (if they were I'd be stoned as I write this). If you're going to claim a relationship between video games and school shootings, cite your sources (or if that research is not available conduct your own experiments). Lastly, always taking cheap shots at music is a good way to appease Jesus.

It's not really a religious thing. Your average spiritual person (Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, etc) probably doesn't think there's any link between video games and violence. The problem is, it's only the ignorant zealots that get publicity, and so like gamers get only negative press, so do spiritual types.

I know that and you know that but there are people in this thread who seemingly do not and they are going to get it locked.

Pretty much. It's comments like that why we try to avoid discussions involving religions and/or political parties on this forum.
