Why no Metal?

I love to listen to metal and it seems both Rock Band AND Guitar Hero lack in this department. I'm talking about bands like Tiamat,Type O Negative,Slayer,King Diamond and alot of others. They keep putting in Black Sabbath over and over. We get it,Black Sabbath is a big metal band,but they arent the answer to everything when it comes to the metal music.

Where are these bands at?

Don't worry,the folks over at Something Awful are just upset they're the lowest on the forum community under 4Chan,totse,and rotten eggs.

Also,I think it's hilarious how people will say you can't base opinion on fact,but then change the word opinion to something similar like "taste" and pretend it's entirely different.

i agree rock band does lack the only songs that are metal are the ones black sabbath has such as paranoid and warpigs

I agree, we do need more metal for this game. I don't know why people assume it's boring, unless they base that opinion solely on Paranoid. Don't get me wrong, I love Sabbath, and Paranoid is a great song, but it is pretty dry to play.

Some more diverse choices in metal could be really fun for the game. Cemetary Gates by Pantera, for example, would be an awesome choice.

Ytmnd's forums are by far the lowest in my eyes. They're just not even funny, just pure idiocy, racism, porn, stupidity and just complete undeniable stupidity. The internet would be a better place without the YTMND forums, however YTMND itself does have funny moments.

As for why no metal?

Because without metal the game is more fun and metal songs are too hard to play and therefore make them not fun. Any nu metal I dislike and as that is not in the game I am extremely happy.
