Red+Yellow=Help!!

guys i got rock band today for the ps3 and the drums r working perfectly besides that the red and yellow pads sometimes dont work..

and i cant replace it since i got as gift from a friend in u.s.a and i live in europe..

what can i do to fix it?

Get that friend to exchange it for you ;) Or just pull the drum heads apart and see if you can solve the problem yourself... or contact the warranty department and ask them if they'll work with you... it may cost you a few bucks, but if it's that important then that shouldn't bother you (especially if they were a gift)

From what EA has told me if you have RB and it has not been released in your country, then they will not replace it.

This is the same thing that was going on with Canadians who bought the game from the US. They were being refused replacements because it had not been released in Canada at that time. Good luck to you.

If they are just missing a few hits, but mostly work you could try the tape mod. There are a few threads on it if you look, but basically just tape down the pads so they don't vibrate as much seems to improve the sensitivity.

My yellow pad didnt register hits so I took them apart and placed a pencil eraser over the spring works now.
