Sound Doesn't Work on Rock Band?

Someone please help me. I have been playing Rock Band the past several days and today when I tried to play, the sound wouldn't work. The Xbox 360 Dashboard sound works. I have put in other games, and the sound for them works. I have switched out HDD's and I have logged in different users. Nothing is working. The only sound I hear is when my profile signs in. There is no start up music, no menu music, and no gameplay sound. Has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it? Thanks.

I'm having that problem too - and nothing seems to work. About halfway through the 'Harmonix' logo spot the sounds either gets a boost or cuts out completely... Can anyone help?

I wasn't getting the sound effects or the audio tones upon calibration until I turned on Dolby Digital in the Settings.
