Latest update restarting my ps3

Has anyone had an issue with the latest update not downloading and restarting the ps3?

When I start Rockband it tells me there is a new update and when I try to download it my PS3 beeps twice and then restarts. I cannot download the update therefore I cannot play Rockband. Please Help.

You need to wait a few seconds and let the game actually load in the background before starting the update. See this thread for more details:
