Replacement Guitar Just as Bad!

So I got my replacement guitar the other day...and I noticed that the downstrum is just as bad as my old guitar!!! what gives? It's still missing notes...only way to play is to upstrum or do the up/down thing....annoying!

I also have this problem.

What I do is use my Guitar Hero 2 guitar. You cant do the unlimited hammer-on for solos or the Big Rock Endings that well but it's a lot better than not hitting notes.

If you don't get it fixed soon and you still want to play Rock Band, buy a GH 2 or GH 3 guitar.

Isn't there A GH 3 for PS3. Or like the lengends of rock thing special edition?

I'm pretty sure you can find a GH controller for the PS3 somewhere. Hopefully you find one or get a working guitar. :D

unless they fixed it, they are not compatible cross games. you cant use GH3 controller on Rock Band or the Rock Band one on GH3. at least for the ps3 its this way

I got my new guitar back today, too. And now the strum doesnt seem to be registering just like the old one. Maybe I'm just tired and I'm missing the time to hit the note, but I'm missing it in the same parts of songs. These things are just so cheaply made.

Can't speak for the PS3 version but on the 360 you can use the GH guitar with Rock Band (just not vice versa). I use my GH guitar with Rock Band.
