I have more respect for LB's than any other position. You have to do everything" Pass Blitz, Run Blitz, Man Cover, Zone Cover, you name it.

Linebacker is by far my favorite position in football mainly because I played that position in high school. There's nothing better than delivering a crushing hit to a running back.

I don't know why there needs to be a tourney. There are only 2 guys who can claim the #1 spot, and thats Revis and Asomugha. Winfield is in the discussion to I suppose, but not quite with those two. Teams don't actively avoid throwing to anybody like they do Revis and Asomugha.

i can agree with this, Revis and Asomugha are the two most dominant active corners today, if this was 4 years ago, Trufant, Winfield, and Bailey were at that level, but no longer

As we are seing with the Jets, when you have a guy that can lock up a whole third of the field, your chances of success are greatly improved. A lockdown CB is the most important to a great defense. It allows you to be more aggressive in general. Otherwise, I'll take a great pash rusher next.
