We play with up to three players at a time covering vocals, drums and one of the guitars playing med-expert vocals, hard-expert drums and expert guitar/bass. We're looking for some guitarist/bassists who have at least a bit of the downloadable content that want to play on hard+. We will be happy to trade off on who plays the guitar/bass per song. We have AIM, windows or yahoo messenger for song requests/band communication as well as textable cell phones.

Btw, how would a band work if we can't even play together on the PS3? I know you could do it on the X-box360, but not on the PS3 (I don't think...)

how we've been playing is by adding friends to the PS network and the selecting <invite friend> on the find members page. It's slower but it gets the job done. This is just for quickplay as far as I know. We haven't tried to form a band online yet so I'm not sure how that works exactly.

Anyone have any insight on this subject?

i can expert any song on guitar, and i can drum anything on hard, and MOST on expert (stuck on fallout boy if that is a good gauge of my skill for ya). hit me up sometime

I dont have the david bowie or queens of stonage pack. but got almost everything else. i dont care about which song we play, i just want to find good players to play with. i'm in virginia so im on eastern time zone

We're in Iowa. We have two members in full time jobs and one in part time night and high school so we're on at different times. Usually when we play together it's on the weekends or after 4pm central time.

We have Bowie, Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age, Police, Metallica and I think we have some randomness throughout.

i have messenger, which i sit at while i play, and a cell phone capable of txts, and soon ill have a mic for voice chat via ps3 (is that supported in RB?) or Ventrilo.

no unfortunately you can't talk at all with the mic though you can hear yourself come out of the TV. But I hear that taking the good with the bad means that Xbox rock band is full of people singing with their headset on which leads to them being half a second behind the vocals on everyone else's games. I know that would me more than slightly distracting >.<

I'll be sure to add all of you as soon as I get on the PS3. I haven't had a chance quite yet. Hopefully we can play sometime this weekend.

How do you all prefer to be contacted? I've been sending the invite but I haven't received one so I'm not sure what that actually does on your end. Is that an acceptable way of playing with a player, or do you just send a message?

on the playstation menu go to the friends tab and select add friend. You have to do it outside the game.
