how do you get 4 guitars to play

I was wondering if someone can help me, i just bought the rock band game, not the huge box, but i have wireless guitars from guitar hero, and all of them work but someone told me that you can play up to 4 guitars at one time and i can only get two to work....can someone help me......

There are only supposed to be two guitars featured in the game, the guitar and the bass. Whoever told you there could be 4 sent you on a fool's errand.
