Did you not read what he said? You can't just buy 1000 MSP and get 400 free. You have to have gotten this email to be able to get the bonus points.

Anyone try this does it work? Also is it an instant 400 points or is it like the visa thing where you had to wait a couple of weeks.

I was going to get MS Points anyway, so this is perfect. I'd advise anyone who is looking to get points to try it anyway. At the worst, you lose a minute of your time. At best, you get $5 worth of MS Points.

I think I've done two of these things. One was that Visa one last year and another one at the beginning of 2009 that only gave me 100 bonus points. Both of them paid off so I decided to go for this one.

Holy crap!

I used the 'send to a friend' option and went to check my Live e-mail address. Turns out, I won 200 points from downloading a gamer picture months ago!

Thanks for helping me discover this sweet prize; I've never won anything in a sweepstakes in my life. lol
