Monday though, there was another surprise announcement that we were not told ahead of time about (If you live in England, your gonna love this part). AC/DC announced that they were headlining the Donington Download festival and will be playing along with other amazing bands such as Them Crooked Vultures, Megadeth, Motorhead, Stone Temple Pilots, and more. This is the first time since 1991 that AC/DC has toured Donington (which was recorded on DVD and featured in the AC/DC Live: Rockband Track Pack).

You can view all the information about the Donington Download Festival at the official webpage. (http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/home/index.aspx?ReturnUrl=/index.aspx)

I'm gonna have to move to Europe, their festivals blow the U.S. out of the water.

I agree. The only one that even remotely interests me, and is also somewhat accessible, is the Maryland Deathfest.

I hope that there's at least a small chance of a Iron Man 2 RB track pack, so we could actually get Bon Scott T.N.T.(I can dream can't I?)

so does that mean that EVERY song in IM2 is going to be AC/DC? that seems a little odd if it is.

Like the soundtrack to the Punisher movie, I see. Anyone remember actually hearing Finger Eleven's Slow Chemical or Drowning Pool's Step Up? You heard about 4 or 5 seconds of Step Up during the scene with the nerdy guy 'pretending to' play a trailer of Full Spectrum Warrior, all taking place before the Russian dude shows up. That was a terrible movie with a good soundtrack imo.

What a ****ty soundtrack if it's just going to buy AC/DC. I will not see Iron Man 2 if all the songs in the movie are going to be ****ty DC.

I will not see Iron Man 2 if all the songs in the movie are going to be ****ty DC.I'm 95% positive that entire soundtrack WILL NOT be entirely AC/DC. However, as I stated before, all of these will make some sort of an appearance (most of them I'm guessing will be only a few seconds long).

Also if you hate AC/DC so much, than why are you even in this thread in the first place?

AC/DC is officially releasing their first greatest hits album,

then what was who made who? it was also the soundtrack to a movie and it was a greatest hits cd (with 3 new songs)

then what was who made who? it was also the soundtrack to a movie and it was a greatest hits cd (with 3 new songs)Technicaly Who Made Who is a greatest hits album, but it doesn't really feel like greatest hits to me because they only have 1 Bon song (Ride On) and most of the songs are from "Fly On The Wall" and "Back In Black". There just isn't much diversity.

This album however unlike Who Made Who spans nearly AC/DC's entire discography with a nice balance between Bon/Brian, Hits/Underated songs. Hell it evens inlcudes thier grammy winning song "War Machine", and "Cold Hearted Man" found on Backtracks (or the Australian version of Powerage).

I guess what I'm saying is that I feel that the songs in AC/DC: Iron Man 2 were more thought out than Who Made Who which basically slapped on hits from Back In Black, stuff from Fly On The Wall, a couple other songs that people recognize, and slapped 1 legit new song, 2 instrumentals, and a remix of "Sink The Pink".

And my rant is over :D
