I can't play Caprici Di Diablo on Lego Rock Band but yet it is a instrumental. Last time i checked there is nothing inappropriate about a song with no words so why is this filtered?

Might be "Too Hard" for kids. I think it's BS. Because Kung Foo Fighting is like the Painkiller of L:RB on expert guitar...

The common theory is because it mentions the Devil in the title of the song.

diablo = devil, pretty much any religious (or anti religious) songs got filtered out, pretty m,uch anything mentioning god or the devil

Yet songs with wonderfully child friendly lyrics like "Fat Bottomed Girls" are acceptible.

This. Of all the Queen DLC, this was the one song I saw the most as "not child friendly."

I thought about this but it seemed a little crazy but i guess not. But it has no lyrics so i wouldn't see parents going crazy over this.

Kung Fu Fighting? How about Green Grass and High Tides, Rude Mood, or Satch Boogie?

I don't know the name of the song, but there's one track that plays on the main menu screen and mentions the word "hell" very clearly and frequently throughout the song. I really don't care about "foul language," but I wonder how that song got in the game without people making a big deal about it. Context?

Obviously missed that. I never bothered searching for the song.

I'm starting to think that that's what this filter is all about. With the exception of Suddenly I See (the song that plays on the menus and has "hell" in it), it seems as if the only time hell is allowed is when it's being referenced as a place, such as in You Give Love a Bad Name on the game itself and in The Metal, a DLC song that's allowed in.

On the other hand, Suddenly I See uses it in an expletive sense and it's in there but Creep from Rock Band 1 does, too and it's not allowed (I'm not forgetting that it uses the F-word, although the radio edited version that made it into Rock Band got rid of it). It's really weird and I have to say, I don't understand some of the reasons for some songs not being allowed. I mean, I just bought On the Road Again today and I can't, for the life of me, understand why it doesn't go in nor was I able to find even a slight potentially offensive part in it.

At this point, I've basically given up on caring what gets into Lego and what doesn't because it seems so arbitrary. For me, I just buy songs for Rock Band 2 and if they pop up in Lego, that's great for variety's sake, especially as I go for that Veteran Performer achievement...

Bands That Rock Band Needs as DLC
[]Huey Lewis & The News
[]Poison
[]Whitesnake
[]Bruce Hornsby
[]Heart
[]Yes
[]Scorpions
[]Skid Row
[X]Bryan Adams (now give us Heaven and Run to You)
[]Twisted Sister
[]Bachman-Turner Overdrive
[]Classic Guns 'N Roses
[X]REO Speedwagon (may I suggest another pack with Keep On Lovin' You, Time For Me To Fly, and Can't Fight This Feeling?)

The common theory is because it mentions the Devil in the title of the song.

And yet, "Red Devil" is allowed, so that blows that theory... (It's OK to have "Devil" in the title if it's in English, but not if it's in Italian?)

As for the "too hard" theory, well "Green Grass and High Tides" is allowed... as is "Surfing With the Alien"... none too easy either...

So I'm honestly stumped; I see no logical reason why (or even an illogical reason why for that matter). Anyone care to guess?

I have no idea but im guessing because of this:

"Mm, I'll try
To hold on tight tonight
Pink slip
Inviting me inside
Wanna burn skin
And brand what once was mine
But the red views
Keep ripping the divide"

Wait... there are songs in this game that have to no vocal track? So... what exactly does the singer do then? Just stand there doing nothing?

If you have a vocalist in the band, you cant pick the song.

My theory would be it's a difficulty thing. Notice that songs rating red-dots in Lego only rate 4, sometimes 5 dots in RB2.

I laughed when I was able to pick Dawn Patrol in L:RB last night.

This is one of those inconsistencies people complain about isn't actually true.
