Practice Mode Rock Band 2

Hey - does anyone know how to exit out of guitar practice mode in Rock Band 2??? I have an XBox 360. Can't seem to back out of practice using the "red" button, also tried all the other buttons but the only way I've been able to exit is to turn the box off completely. It sort of seems like the only way to get out of practice mode is to complete a song 100%. Yikes. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

yeah - hit start and that pulls up your menu - umm.... the + key I think it is.... press it, it pulls up the menu, and you can choose to exit to menu....
