Anyone played it?
I just downloaded it and I have to say I'm impressed. I think Modern Warfare 2 has a run for its money if they can iron out a couple of the bugs (And a full screen option). So if you've played it post your opinions here and whether or not you're getting it next month; I know I am.

hahahaha,Halo 3 and GTA IV far surpassed MW2 in hype if not money made. Halo 3 probably would have in money if it weren't only on one console.

But it could be better. It's not always about the money and the popularity. Plus, I just went from the demo back to MW2 and I'm extremely bored already.

im talking about hype, and last i checked MW2 didnt have its own Soda and a beta that attracted nearly 4 million players and practically launched a franchise by packing that beta in with it(Crackdown). Mw2 may have made more money,but no way on the hype thing.

also i believe Halo 3 still is outselling MW2 on the 360. Mw2 is on 3 systems,so it has that benefit.

No, they didn't. Like Cubey said, they just slapped their logo on it. Mountain Dew made, I mean MADE a soda just for Halo 3. It's sad, most people got Crackdown just for the Halo 3 beta and most of them never even played the game. The game was awesome. I loved playing it when I did.

I liked the demo. It's a little laggy, but it seems like it could be pretty fun. I like being a medic and throwing boxes at people to heal them. :D

I love it. Just be warned it's not CoD. You're going to need to communciate with your squad and use some tactics to really get the full benefit of the game.

If you're kind of a "lone wolf" it might not be the game for you necessarily.

For whatever it's worth the (free) servers have been stable. I've yet to experience lag in a weeks worth of playing 3-4 hrs a night.

how large are the teams in this game? i like smaller teams (ala L4D) where individual skill shines a bit more.

I've been having a blast playing it. I just got done playing like 4 matches. And I believe we won like 3 out of the 4. Which is good. There was one game where basically like 1/4 of the opposite team was sitting in our bases trying to kill us so we don't win. Well let's just say that that plan did not work out for them at all. The game right after them, we destroyed them (pretty much) Sure, they got to the 3rd place, but we didn't let them take any of the building things with the bomb thingy in it.
