I just bought the solo guitar at a Best Buy and opened it just tonight. When I tried out a song, I found out that both the start button and the XBOX button were not responding when I pressed it during the middle of the song.

Do I need to contact tech support? :(

Yep, best bet is to do a warranty return with EA.
