rlly... harmonix=awsome game + red octane=quality hardware = what we want :P i mean red octane made great guitar controllers but neversoft screwed up the game big time, while harmonix made an awsome game but EA DEFENTLY screwed up the hardware imagine rock band made by harmonix and red octane, thatd be awsome :P

Hell ya, my GH2 ps2 troller is by far the best troller I have for any of these games. Has never had a SINGLE issue. Meanwhile my les paul while alright drops notes due to being RF instead of Bluetooth. And my RB Guitar & Mic just outright broke within 2 days. Prolly gonna be my last game from this genre/and EA entirely. Rather just play my real fender at this point. I mean hell they made the things in China. If I wanted something from China I'd go to Walmart and get lead poisoning. Not pay through the nose for it at a game store. Further more how in the hell did anything from China cost 170....oh wait it didn't it cost a whopping 5$ so EA can get epic profits while not sharing said wealth with any of the developers that actually made said product.

A working Rock Band controller is a vast improvement on the GH controller, especially the GH III controller. The Les Paul is terrible, the detachable neck might be the worst idea ever. All it does is cause the controller to break, mine did at least, red button almost never works. I tried to send it back, but I had to pay for shipping and all that, very different from Rock Band's return policy.

If Harmonix and Redoctane were still together I would hope that the strat would not have a detachable neck :D

I agree 100% with the two guys above me. The detachable neck is quite possibly the worst thing they could've done, short of changing the colors of the notes or adding a new color. (Ewww...purple...*shiver*) :D

I don't have any problems with the hardware !! The guitar from Guitarhero look more like a toy than the Strat from RockBand. I think people are rocking a little bit too hard for some toys instruments !!!
