Band Leader Not Available

When i go to log into the game, band world tour, and select my band ... it first shows the names of the people in our band .. but then when we go to select the band member they are not there to select, you have to make a new character. I did make new characters but it still didn't recognize the band leader and wont let us continue our tour. We did end up going into Options -> Manage Data ... and it shows the characters names associated with our band .. but i cant find them when it's time to select them. I hope there is a solution besides starting the band over. (this is the first time that i turned off the system so could it not have saved properly? i mean i see that the characters are there in the Manage Data, our fans are still there, and even our stars. )

Make sure your leader is signed in to the same place as he was originally, and with the same instrument.

Yeah, i haven't touched the system at all ... i just turned it off last night and this morning when i turned it on it is the same configuration. :(
