broken dvd player

My dvd player was working fine until today. When i bought a new movie it got about half way through and started skipping through alot of it. but it never used to do that.
What the f*** is going on?!?

Your DVD player broke. Go to walmart and get a new one for 25 bucks.

I am. Im using my PS2 because mine broke.

i just use my 360 to play DVD's,it even upconverts.

Clean the DVD, try another DVD, clean the DVD player lense, buy a new upconverting DVD player for $39, are things to try, in that order.

I think Walmart has new ones for 20 bucks there pretty much throw away electronics at this point, unless you have a high dollar one just get a new one.

Or you can go ahead and upgrade to a Blu-Ray / PS3 ;). But if you don't have the money totally understandable. Get one one of those cheap ones from Wal-Mart
