ok. heres the deal. I have a tv with with ONE video input slot (you know the three colored cords). The problem is that I have 2 devices I want connected to the tv. My 360 and a dvd player. Is there anything I could use so I could connect both at the same time instead of switching cords everytime I want to use the other? Like an adapter or something or something that can go to the cable input as well?

How many video input options does your TV have when you try to cycle between cable and your dvd/360? If there's only one option i'm not sure if the signal can be split like that. Keep in mind i'm not expert.

An A/V cable splitter maybe?
Idk, I'm that techno-savvy, but that seems like it might work.

but how would he switch between the input signals from each device? That's the only hurdle i can think of. Although i suppose if you're not using them at the same time it may work.

Not HDMI. Just regular video cords. Its a 10+ year old tv so thats probably why theres only one outlet. I was searching around and found this

Its similar to something i was looking for, but it has the Yellow/white/red cords

LOL There are splitters you can buy and you just push a buttont to switch between two devices. I used to have one with 5 inputs.

Really what you want is not a splitter but an AV switch. Should be cheap.

Radioshack usually has stuff like that, but their prices are a little high, but they';; probably have what you're looking for.
