Last few games in modern warfare 2, I've been getting black dots on the background of the maps. What is causing this?

That's definitely an A/V issue. Try using a different cable before you pay money for MS to fix it.

Next time this happens, you'll have another system to fall back on while you wait for repairs. That's how I got through the wait for my ps3 fix. A whole lot of L4D.

As long as you don't have a lot of money towards DLC on your 360, PS3 is the more reliable system.

I guess this is kind of a pointless response since the 360 broke... but my copy of L4D started doing that a while ago where it would freeze and get purple dots everywhere, but it was the game that was broken. I'm almost positive it was snapping it in and out of that freaking case that broke it, I hate doing that.

Yes. theres a three year warrenty for the E-74. Ok. They dont send boxes out anymore so I just printed the label and need a box. People were saying just go to a ups store and they'll pack it for u for like $10. I'm thinking about going this route.

I wouldn't ***** out and buy a PS3 like some, how much have you spent on the 360?, take that into account.

But it was bound to happen sooner or later, mine hasn't Red Ringed...yet, and i've had it for a year and a half. Believe mine's a 2008 model.

Still sucks. Take the HDD off and send it to M$ for repair. May take a while to come back but it'll be worth the wait. OR you could try not using it for a week and try it then?, leave it in a cool place and leave the wires unplugged as you do that.

(I have nothing against the PS3 as my cousin owns one. But i'm sick of posts i see on facebook etc like "ugh, get a ps3 ****** noob rrod machine, ****box 360 sucks cock")
