Can't read the lyrics

All, the lyrics are not readable, they are blurry and sometimes doubled. Playing on xbox 360, 50" plasma tv, Onkyo 6.1 receiver. Any ideas?

I ended up changing to static lyrics, from the default of scrolling. That was readable and ok to use.

Very disapointed that the Rock Band Tech Support never posted any replies! Doesn't bode well for them, guess customer service is not a big priority!!

There are not that many HMX guys that are on here compared to the amount of posts daily. So, sometimes it takes awhile. Plus on forums posts get lost and buried.

It's your TV, plain and simple. Try changing your settings (on the TV itself).

I am having the same porblem on my TV, 50" Plasma. Was working fine and now it's blurry. I tested it on my son's 26" LCD and it isn't blurry there. Help!

Like one other person on here said, it could be the TV. It also could be an upscaling issue. If your reciever upscales to 1080p from 720p, that could make the words hard to read. It could also happen with downscaling as well.

We get this kind of thing in the office all of the time when someone messes with the projector and then their laptop settings (trying to do 1280x1024 resolution when the projector only does 1024x768). In this case, the projector would downscale 1280x1028 down to 1024x768 output. Looks OK, but you can't read any text.

Back to the topic: if this doesn't seem to be the issue, try going direct to the TV from the 360 (bypassing your reciever). If you are using 5 cables for video/audio, I don't think you can get higher than 720p output.

If you still have issues, check your XBOX video settings (from the dashboard).
