i can't play online with more than one person at a time. I checked online and it says that there isn't online mode for the campaign mode for the world tour, but it says this for the xbox360. Is it different for the ps3? is online co-op non existent in the ps3 version? any information would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There is only band quick play online for both the PS3 and 360. Online Band World Tour was not implemented, it can only be played locally.

There is a band quickplay where you can invite your friends (who also have the PS3 version) but its not the world tour mode. I use it as a 'jam session' mode before they come over or I hit thier place for the real thing. Its fun and I've come across some amazing good players.

say i had a friend over, we wouldn't be able to play a game against 2 players online? say vocalist and guitarist versus a vocalist and guitarist.

You know, I've never really tried that. You're on Ps3 right? add Thr3e2wenty8 to your friends list and send me a challenge when you see that I'm on.

You won't be able to play two vs two or anything like that, no. As far as competitive goes it's pretty much one vs one.

As a vocalist and guitarist however, you could team up with another guitarist and a drummer for a full band in multiplayer band quick play.

That's correct, the versus modes are all 1v1.

If you had a vocalist and guitarist locally in Louisville, you could join up with a drummer in Dallas and a bassist in Bayone, but it wouldn't be versus, it would be cooperative.
