Guitar compatibility questions (X360)

I have Rock Band and was hoping that I could just pick up Guitar Hero 3 and then have two guitars for both games but it is my understanding that the Rock Band guitar will not work with Guitar Hero 3.

Is there a guitar out there that will work with both games?

Does the Rock Band Guitar work with Guitar Hero 2?

Will both Guitar Hero 2 & 3 guitars both work with Rock Band?

For 360, the GHIII Les Paul and GHII Xplorer work on both Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. PS3, no such luck.

The 360 Explorer works with all three, the Rock Band Strat works only in Rock Band, and the 360 Les Paul works in GH2 and Rock Band.

With as many compatibility questions come up on the board, the community managers should just post this chart at the top of the page:

The lower frets for guitar solos and rock endings. The modifier switch. A strum bar that will eventually not strum down (zing).

Ok then, what's about Fender (RB) compatibility with GH: Aerosmith? I'm talking about X360 versions :).

Surprisingly, the wired Fender Strat controller for Rock Band does in fact work with GH: Aerosmith. I cannot confirm whether or not the wireless version does.

OK it's good information for me :), becouse I've got wired version of Fender Start :).
