Just goes to show that sometimes, the answer won't always be "yes".

Epic fail (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esr_okP5Qmo&feature=channel)

I actually feel sorry for the poor guy...:(

I wouldn't look happy either.

Especially in front of over 100,000 people both on Television and at the game.

I don't feel sorry for the guy at all. He's a moron for even thinking this was a good idea. I feel more sorry for the girl. He's the one who decided to make the moment public, not her. He humiliated her in front of a live studio audience and on TV no less. The guy is an idiot.

How can people put that up on failblog and laugh at it? That is one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

It's fake, they do that at a lot of basketball games, always around Valentine's day

The announcer even says it's a prank towards the end of the video.

You do understand that they could have been boyfriend/girlfriend right?

He may have been rejected from becoming her husband, but that doesn't kick off the idea that their relationship isn't over.

No, the announcer says that his comment (I'm just waiting for one girl to say no) was meant to be a joke.

Yes, I'm quite aware of that, since I actually watched the entire video.

At 1:02, he says "You know I was just joking when I said that, right?" (about wanting to see a girl say No)

But then at 1:20 one of the announcers says, "A little prank here on the night before Valentine's Day..."

Seriously people, it's not even 2 minutes long...can you not watch the whole thing before commenting on it? :p

It could have been one of these (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wFpvRMIIEM) situations. (Caution: Parrotheads.)

Not if you're a guy or a sex addict. Then it's just a trick to get in your pants.

But yes, I thought that's how it went. Meet someone -> date -> if things go well -> marriage

Marriage is an obsolete institution. If you hadn't noticed, more than half of them these days end in divorce. (Yes, really)

That's because people make stupid decisions and "fall in love" without actually getting to know each other. Which is what dating should be about. Getting into the core of someone's personality. It's also a flirt-fest. :p

A blanket generalization that, unfortunately, is just not true. My ex-wife and I were dating for 5 years before we got married. I think it's fair to say we knew each other pretty darn well at that point. :)

Most people also don't date very long before they're getting married either. My sister and her husband dated for 4 years before they got married. And my Brother and his soon-to-be wife have dated for 5 years before they get married next month. Though, you are right.

The girl was freakin laughing and smiling through the whole damn thing... And she wasn't crying...Give me a break. Most girls if they were together for at least a year or two would cry in that situation IMO. No way she was smiling & laughing through the damn thing. I call BS
