OH FOCK...
In the fall of 2000, Meet the Parents became a surprise smash, grossing over $160 million. Four years later, the sequel, Meet the Fockers, managed to significantly outgross the original, bringing in nearly $280 million, good for second highest-grossing comedy of all-time behind Home Alone. A second sequel was inevitable, and, after six years, audiences are finally getting one when Little Fockers is released Dec. 22.

I liked the first one but the second one sucked. I'll pass on the third.

Agreed
I hated the second one. This is clearly a lazy attempt at a cash grab by the studio, and I suspect it will blow up in their faces.

The first Meet The Parents is still one of my favorite comedies of all-time, the second one was alright, but I'll still watch the third one for the hell of it.

I don't hate on things because they're popular. I hate on them because I hate 'em!

In the second one, the humor was just too contrived, too forced. They also took great pains to stoop to the crudest, lowest common denominator. Hard to get excited about an encore.

I'll be checking this out. Not so much cause I'm a huge fan but my son was an extra in one of the scenes. I did get to see Barbara shooting that day. Don't want to spoil but it was a lot of fun. Depends what angle and final print they use for his first big screen debut.

Movie threequels for this genre usually work like this:
1. Put little kids in
2. ???
3. PROFIT!!!
