Release Date?!?!

I haven't been looking up rock band very much lateley but when i was at best buy one of the people gave me two release dates. I don't remember them but one was in October, that was for PS3 and one was in November, 360.

I just wanted to check if this was true and if it is what those dates actually are.

There is no definite date yet, all they say is "Holiday 2007". So November could be true, December at the latest. The sooner the better, I say. :p

Wiki predicts mid-November. Some time around the 20th. But that's just a prediction I believe. Probably from GameStop.

Pretty much guarenteed we will... we get screwed over with pretty much everything, and games even moreso... unfair as it is, I'm afraid we're stuck putting up with it :(.

GH3 will do alright anyway.. It is on PS2 as well... A HUGE built in market already.. All RB is on is 360 and PS3.

Well, it says in Wikipedia that it will come out in Nov.20 in North America and Dec.31 in Australia.

When will it be released in Europe is still unknown.

At least, as far as I remember, Guitar Hero 2 for Xbox 360 came out here shortly after the US Release. (3 days later according to IGN)

I'm thinking it wont be that long after... I'm REALLY hoping that they'll put some real consideration into us UK peeps and give us a same day release... doubtful, but I'd think it only fair... after all, if we're gonna be playing on Live and such, why should other countries get a head start over us?

Yeah, sorry for a crappy assumption, I thought that ya might be from somewhere other than the UK just as I hit to post, but couldn't be bothered to edit, and figured that as we all get it the same, we all get screwed (At least you get it cheaper than us :P, if our government had our way, they'd not only tax us when we bought it, they'd take us when we played it, traded it... and then when we died because we'd temporarily owned it)

Besides, I really like the UK, you have such awesome bands and such a nice rainy weather.

Oh, and yeah, well, it's gonna be expensive here too. In the USA it's cheaper for sure. Take the PS3 for example. It costs 600 dollars in the US and 600 euros here. But if you convert dollar into euro... 600 dollars are just about 440 euros!

I'd rather have his career killed off stone dead).

I'm actually a Eurovision whore... especially as we get Terry Wogan taking the smeg out of everyone, so I always enjoy it :), also got a mate from Holland who I typically sit online insulting all the artists with (unless said artist rocks, when we switch to praising 'em :))

I doubt Wikipedia will be correct on Australia's release on New Years Eve. Games generally wont be released on NYE. Also, its a Monday this year, games are generally released on Thursday.

Yeah, you're right. Besides, some people may don't want to spend so much money on all the Rockband instruments and buy GH3 instead. Although I really can't understand it. After seeing Rockband Guitar Hero 3 really seems like the slim version of Rockband. The light version. The Zero Version. With Zero Sugar. And Less fun.

And Lordi are amazing, I'd not heard of 'em until the run up to Eurovision... then when I heard that song (and saw the video on Youtube...), I realized how awesome they were, nabbed a couple of MP3's, realized how great they were, and immediately went out and bought all 3 of their albums. (Had I not been able to listen to those MP3's, I'd never have got the albums either... I don't buy albums based on a single song... so free MP3's aren't bad unless you suck, if ya good, I'm still gonna buy your stuff, as ye'll be deserving of the cash, lol).

But yeah, in general, Eurovision music is complete toss... but every year you're guarenteed at least one gem... I mean, what about when Ruslana took the victory with Wild Dance? That was tremendous :D
