View Full Version : Frustrated with the "empty box" return...

I've been trying SO hard to give EA the benefit of the doubt due to the number of returns, etc... I've been playing with a borrowed GH2 X-Plorer, working on my drumming & singing... but now I'm very upset.

I received my empty box almost 3 weeks ago. I packaged up my defective Strat, put it into capable hands of UPS and waited.

Today I received an EMPTY box in return with a "Complete" listed on my account at the EA support page.

As of right now, I've been on hold with EA for 23 minutes.

Are things really that bad over there?

Okay, after talking with a REALLY awesome customer service rep at EA, I'm very happy with the response I got.

I was frustrated, now I'm just impatient. *laugh*

I feel your pain, my guitar broke within an hour of playing (first day too). Sent a request for a replacement the 21st of November, recieved the empty box (mind you, with express shipping) a week and a half later. Sent it back and I just (yes, JUST) recieved my guitar a few hours ago. That's right. It took more than a month to replace my guitar.

Thats odd, I filled out the form on their EA site 3 days ago and got my new one today. I got the express 2 shipping by giving them a credit card number though, maybe they send it faster that way... :confused:

Demonking, you must be lucky. I filed for the two day airmail a little less than a month ago and the UPS tracker says it still hasn't been shipped. I'm getting worried they're going to charge my credit card before i even the get the box to send mine back.

I literally waited on hold for almost 35 minutes, but once I got someone on the other end, they fixed the problem immediately. :)

You had to pay to get it replaced? or just pay to speed up the shipping?
