A friendly post from Germany. I currently own RB1, RB2, AC/DC and then some DLC. In terms of peripherals I own a standard European instrument set (Version 1 of the instruments).

Recently I decided to buy another guitar. Or die trying, as it turns out.

Local Retailers:
Checking all stores, the best I could find was one full instrument set for 50€. No RB guitars in any store, one third party guitar which was more expensive than the whole set. After careful deliberation, I decided I did not need to own another full set.

Online Retailes:
Amazon.de came up short, save only for a few Beetles Guitars being sold by some guys for around 120€. I tried more online stores across Europe, but was unable to find a plain and simple RB guitar, for less than 65€. U.S imports of RB guitars (Version 2, so at least that would be an improvement) still range around 75€, in conclusion the whole instrument set still is cheaper.

Wholesales Businesses:
Surely the mighty corporation warehouses still have a hidden stack somewhere? No. But I had the option of at least buying GH World Tour and a Gh controller compatible with RB for 50€. I decided I was not that desperate.

That leaves me with one question:
Is it be possible for Europeans to buy a second guitar for RB from Harmonix? Not some third party over priced replica for living room display, not some cheap third party that jacked up the prices when first party guitars went away. Not some limited edition rotting away in a shelf with a price sticker to scare away customers. Some real nice RB guitar for a decent price, or preferably the auto-calibrating version 2.0 for a reasonable price.

Same issue here in the States. Been sold out everywhere since Christmas, and no clue as to why, when they'll be back in stock or anything. Very strange, if you ask me. I ended up buying a bundle to get the guitar and mic, then selling off the game and drums.
