I lot of people have done it by getting a microphone stand, although Xbox 360 users can also use the headset. The tricky part is, you have to have a controller plugged in to the headset to choose options for that 'band mate' so it might be tricky to wear the headset attached to the controller whilst playing an instrument.

Yes. Use a mic stand, or the Xbox headset. Tambourine hits will be impossible unless you head-butt the mic, but it gets the job done.

its possible, i do it whenever i play, just hook up your guitar to the usb and hook up a controler to the system and the mic to the usb then go to multiplayer, join with both, then either get a mic stand or use something as a mic stand, and ta dah you can sing and play guitar, or if you want, you and drum and sing to, tho its a lot harder to do

its not impossible to do the taps, just have sensitivity up and make light tapping noises with your mouth, thats what i do, and it works
