I liked the first one the best for many reasons:
It takes place in Las Vegas, Penis enlarger pump joke, Elizabeth Hurley, $1 million dollars, "good god!" and many more

The Spy Who Shagged Me. It was actually the first one I saw. But to be honest I can't remember which ones are which.

Goldmember was a disgrace to the series.
My favorite was International Man of Mystery. But, The Spy Who Shagged Me is just as good.

"International Man Of Mystery" holds a special place in my heart.
My family rented it on VHS back when it first came out. It was pizza night (Papa Murphy's Take N' Bake, if I recall correctly).
When it got to the bathroom scene ("Who does Number Two work for?..."), I managed to gag on cheese and ended up doing a spit-take of the Fruit Punch Kool-Aid I drank to wash the cheese down. That movie almost killed me. :D
That movie is the reason my family stopped doing pizza nights when watching a comedy.

Austin Powers played a crucial role in my childhood, loved those movies.

The Spy Who Shagged Me (only because of Fat Bastard). I still have yet to fully watch Goldmember, and I don't intend on watching based on some of the clips I've seen.

what's wrong with you, lol?
Yeah, The Spy Who Shagged Me is the best, just for the Russian chick and the Arab dude. I don't really remember the first, and I like Goldmember but I was like 12 when it came out so yeah...
i want them to hurry up and make the fourth one already. It's gonna happen eventually.

and you call yourself a human being
I can still remember the first time I watched the first one, it was one of those movies I thought Id get in trouble for watching (hey, I was 5 when it came out on VHS) and I was watching in my room with the door closed because I didn't want to get in trouble for watching it. My dad heard the movie through the door and came in. I still can't describe how scared I got when that happened, haha. But instead, he sat down next to me and we both watched the rest of the movie. Most of the jokes went over my head because I was to young to understand them at the time, but now we usually watch it when its on TV and let the nostalgia flow... too bad Goldmember ruined it all

International Man of Mystery edges out The Spy Who Shagged Me, both are very solid movies.

You gotta be kiddin right: the first one was awesome, then the sequals got exponentially bad, even with the introduction of Mini-me

The Spy who Shagged Me.
It was funny, had the most hilarious new bad guys ever (Mini-Me and Fat Bastard), and it was the first AP movie I ever saw.

I'd have to agree with this. I absolutely loved the first 2 and the third one was a HUGE ugh. Oh, and they are doing a 4th one. The 4th one is about Dr. Evil and his son.

yes, but NONE of the Powers girls can compare to Elizabeth Hurley from the first one. Heather Graham is pretty bad in the 2nd, and Beyonce is...well, Beyonce and just there for her looks. cept I can get equal satisfaction AND passable acting from Hurley.
plus the gags in the first Powers movie are just plain funnier.

Easily the first, because of one of the greatest scenes in movie history

I just realized that about 70% of my "inside jokes" are from the Austin Powers' series. Like saying "Ass Cream" instead of "Ice Cream". Or saying "Riiiiiiiiight." real slow.

ha, I know exactly what you mean. when an employee asks me for a ridiculous request, I tend to say, "how bout......NOOOO, scott".
most of them don't get it, but I shall always treasure the reference

Its kinda hard for me to not be a fan of these movies.
The first one is the best. The opening of the second one is extremly funny. I actually share Dr. Evils full name. Which is nice because I got sick of people calling me Austin for years until the third one came out.
