Rock band question

I was wondering if anyone had heard if anything has been said about any country songs getting added to the playlist or if ther eiwll be a variation of the game for country songs.....

I know that is a crazy thing to ask since it is called ROCK BAND but I did want o know cause alot of the people that I play with enjoy country along with Rock so help me out if there has been any thing said about this... Thanks.

I can almost guarantee that there will never be country music. There just isn't a large enough demographic. As a musician I can't stand country. It's all the same stuff. Only country people can listen to that stuff.

My family would kill for a country music version. I know some of the songs are too slow, but there are some killer country songs that would be fun to play. Mostly I think it would be great to sing along with our favorite country songs as we are big fans.

As for if there is a large enough demographic, I think that's all just personal opinion, just because you can't stand country music doesn't mean everyone else feels the same. I don't like rock, but I still bought Rockband AND GH.

They have CCR so why not do some old country stuff? It would be interesting! LOL

AS for the Demographic idea is like the other person says.. Waht demopgraphic are we atlking about it might would sell since there is a country music industry then there is a potentioal demographioc for this game.

Old country would be sweet. I just find lyrics of country now laughable. There was one song with lyrics like, "my son is in the back of the van eatin' chicken nuggets". Some Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers would be sweet. Also country has Derek Trucks. Thats pro right there. AMAZING guitarist.

Lyrnyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers are both Southern Rock, not country.

Freebird and Jessica were both in GH 2.
