Multiplier won't work once I've beaten game

Hey guys,
We beat the tour and are now Rock Immortals, but now when we play and go into overdrive, we cannot get more than 4x the multiplier (6 for bass).
Is this normal?

it's always been this way. What was happening before?

Before we beat the game we could get up to 8x multiplier (12 on bass) when we went to overdrive because it doubled or current multiplier. However now, even when we are capped out at 4x, it won't double or go higher when we activate star power :( It's making it quite hard to get above three stars, when we were getting 4-5 on everything before we won because of star power. Also, for the singer, the line with the pitch tone has disappeared and to see what was going on I set it down on the table and walked away/didn't sing. I got a 99% XD I'm not sure what's going on.

to clarify its this: if you play solo when you activate overdrive the multiplier will show the overdrive (8x instead of 4x when used)

as a band when you use overdrive the multipler from OD is shown under the score and is SHARED by the band (if 2 people use overdrive at the same time then the multiplier is 4 times [2x from each band member] and is shared by everyone)

also as a band the score for 4 stars,5 stars, (and gold stars on expert) the score required is increased due to multiple band members
