I bought a Rockband 2 guitar and my MS wired headset would cause feedback to everyone in my online party and I had to shout for anyone to hear me but it still cut out every other word. My headset works with EVERY other controller I own. I returned the guitar to the store and upgraded to a Beatles Duo-Jet guitar ($100 guitar!)... get home, SAME EXACT PROBLEM. So I figure ok, Rockband guitars don't like MS headsets... I spent another $100 for a Turtle Beach X31 Wireless headset and I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!
My Guitar Hero guitars and handsets work perfectly with either headset. So what's the problem. I tried unplugging our cordless phone and nothing changed. The only other wireless item is the router which I need for the Xbox network adapter which obviously must remain on.
I searched the forum, actually found people having the exact same problem, but nobody offered a solution. Does anyone read these? I started a support case with EA but thought I'd try here while I wait for a response. TIA for any ideas.
