Question about the Guitar

Just got Rock Band the other day and noticed that the strum button on the guitar seems to have a lot of play in it. The other guitars I have seem to have no play in them at all. Anyone else notice this too? Or is this not normal?

I notice the same thing and had the same question. The amount of play on the strum mechanism is so much, I have difficulty on faster passages. I can play GH3 on Hard and most of the way through Expert, so I am pretty sure it is a guitar mechanism issue.
